i saw my friends alie and drew this weekend. they’re going to sudan in less than a month and they’re still raising money. if you were thinking about buying a print, do it now! i bought one for my mom and two for myself. good for: world traveler types, people who love art, anyone who wants to give to a good cause while geting something incredible in return.

things always come in threes, right? for example, i’m going to be out of town for three weekends in a row. tomorrow, ak and i drive to ohio to visit my family and go to my sister’s graduation party. the weekend after i fly into chicago, meet katie, and drive to michigan for cal and mary’s wedding. and the weekend after i’ll accompany ak on another road trip, this time to...
a tuesday dinner date with katie means trying new resturants, like potpie, which was our pick a few months ago (i don’t think either of us were too impressed, to be honest) or pangea, which we’ll be trying tomorrow.

my great friends alie and drew are going to spend the summer in sudan doing relief work. in addition to being humanitarians they’re also both talented photographers. prints of their travels are for sale on alie’s etsy, all proceeds go toward the cost of their trip. these would be perfect for a belated mother’s day gift.
