interesting post about the link between TJs and Aldi…owned by the same company, operating on the same concept, but with different marketing. i personally love both grocery stores, and i’ve been shopping at aldi since forever. there’s no shame in $.79 avocados.

Yummiest local burger ever! →
on saturday the ak and i + friends headed over to Lawrence, KS for the afternoon to have lunch and walk around mass st. we stumbled on this adorable resturant, local burger. the concept is completely delicious burgers and every single ingredient locally sourced from independent farms dedicated to humane practices. the food was excellent and very reasonably priced… under $10 for a burger +...
this morning Olly and i were out for a run. it felt so great outside; i thought it felt like the first great day of spring. it wasn’t very sunny out, or even warm. the grass is still brown and there’s mud and salt stains everywhere. i couldn’t figure out what felt so good.
then i realized: birds! there were robins and cardinals and little brown sparrows. sitting in trees, flying...

my facebook account was making me anxious. which is probably the stupidest thing i’ve admitted yet this year. so i deactivated it. there’s no reason why i should be suffering anxiety brought on by facebook. geesh.
