let’s try something new

new things i am trying or want to try:

veggie burgers. of course, i’ve had veggie burgers before, lots and lots of times. i love me a great veggie burger! (veggie bacon cheese burger!) (just kiddin’.) but i erroneously thought veggie burgs were something i had to either order at a restaurant or buy frozen (which, frozen are gross). erroneously=i was wrong. they are actually easy to make at home! so now i’m playing around with my perfect veggie burger recipe. this allows me to spend a lot of time with my food processor, which is perfect because i love my food processor so.

bikram/”hot” yoga. bikram because some guy named bikram made up the poses. hot because the room is 109 degrees. why because i’m crazy. i dunno. i just have been practicing hatha yoga for about two years now and i wanted to try this insanity type of yoga just to see what all of the fuss about. with a lot of patience, some deep breathing and a healthy dose of self talk (you’re okay. don’t freak out. you’re okay.) i got through it and guess what? i’m going back.

quilting. i dunno. i’ve seen some weird quilts in my day. but i’ve also seen some pretty great ones too. i tend to like creative projects that let me do something with my hands while listening to podcasts or watching a movie. so we’ll see. i might add quilting to my list of new things that i love.
